What is a psychology degree?
The Psychology major prepares graduates for employment in human and social service careers, and for graduate study in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology. Students emerge from the psychology bachelor's degree online program equipped with important skills including the ability to assess client needs, keep thorough and accurate records, and express care and empathy in order to act as an advocate for clients. Students will learn basic behavioral science principles, general psychology principles, and the theories of different areas of psychology, as well as critical thinking skills and their practical applications.
With classes emphasizing Abnormal Psychology, Counseling Psychology and Theories of Personality, students will have the ability to explore many areas of psychology.

Dr. Joshua Knabb, Program Director of Psychology for Online and Professional Studies, recently published "The Relationship Between Personality and Marital Adjustment Among Distressed Married Couples Seen in Intensive Marital Therapy: An Actor-Partner Interdependence Model Analysis." Dr. Knabb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands; a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.
