Maryann Pearson, Ed.D., Program Director
California Baptist University’s Public Relations major seeks to develop students' skills in professional-level public relations work including social media direction, media relations, event planning, campaigns for non-profits and businesses, and public relations writing.
The Public Relations major also develops students’ skills in professional-level research and investigation, interviewing and reporting, explanatory and analytical writing, editing, layout and design, and media law and ethics, in accordance with nationally accepted journalism standards.
