The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Degree Program at California Baptist University prepares individuals for careers or advancement in a variety of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, and as security personnel, including preparation for graduate study in related public service fields.

Created with the input of seasoned leaders in criminal justice, the curriculum reflects content most relevant to today’s criminal justice professionals. Classes are taught by experienced faculty, including many active and retired members of law enforcement and other related professions, who impart practical knowledge that can be immediately applied to the job as well as to future career goals. Accelerated eight-week sessions allow working students to complete their degree in as little as sixteen months.
Ethical Professionals
The B.S. in Criminal Justice supports CBU’s faith-based mission within the classroom and coursework. Courses integrate Christian principles as they apply to ethics, justice, and other key issues related to the field of criminal justice. Students gain a deeper understanding of the law and how to uphold it.

An accelerated degree program which can be completed in as little as 16 months, the B.S. in Criminal Justice is aimed to be helpful for students who desire to earn their degree while working. A major in Criminal Justice from CBU's Online and Professional Studies allows students to earn their bachelor's degree at an accelerated pace. With courses offered in online form, hybrid form, and completely in-person, students have the opportunity to complete their coursework around their own schedule. The accelerated criminal justice degree offered through CBU's OPS provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate degree-completion.
