Practical Preparation
Small classes give students direct access to faculty with a working knowledge of the subjects they teach. Comprised of public school teachers, recreation and athletic directors, and other working professionals, faculty members bring relevant experience from the field into the classroom. Students gain a practical understanding of how to apply concepts to the workplace, and to achieving career goals.
Professional Connections
Students of the Kinesiology degree-completion program are strongly encouraged to become engaged and take advantage of the program’s exceptional networking opportunities. The Kinesiology program and faculty have fostered outstanding relationships with a range of professionals in sports medicine, fitness, athletic training and other high-demand professions. The faculty-sponsored student kinesiology club meets regularly to discuss professional issues relevant to the field, and introduce students to guest speakers who work in the field.
Developing Ethical Professionals
CBU’s Kinesiology faculty and curriculum prepare students of high moral character who are committed to enhancing the quality of life of all people. To achieve this, the degree-completion program is guided by CBU’s Christian values and mission.
