Looking to finish your degree with flexibility and convenience that allows even the busiest working adult the time to pursue their dream and live their purpose? California Baptist University Online and Professional Studies offers various accelerated degree programs that are tailored to the working adult. With online, hybrid (blended), and in-person night courses, students have the flexibility they need.
CBU Online is committed to bringing the highest degree of excellence to all of our students’. Our accelerated online programs allow students’ to complete their degree within 12 to 16 months depending on the degree program. Each semester consists of two different, eight-week sessions in which students can choose courses and finish in a short amount of time.
Our courses can be taken in three formats: online, blended and in person. Our online courses are taken completely online through the use of Blackboard 9.1. In person courses are traditional classroom settings that occur at our main campus located in Riverside or at one of our educational centers in Menifee, Silicon Valley, Clovis and soon - our Temecula Education Center. Hybrid/Blended courses are a mix of online and in person courses in which the course is blended: having both an online and in person component.
Students can take our courses at their own rate, which provides plenty of flexibility for the working adult. Taking 12 or more units per semester considers the student full time. Taking six or more units per semester considers the student half time, and also gives the student eligibility for financial aid.* Taking five units or few considers the student, ¼ time.
California Baptist University Online and Professional Studies offers a large selection of accelerated bachelors degree programs to choose from. Through OPS students are able to finish what they started with online bachelor degree completion programs. Our degree programs include Bachelors in Accounting, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration and Sociology. These new degree programs were created to allow students the ability to live their purpose and balance faith, family and their professions.
CBU OPS has plenty of accelerated masters degree programs as well. These programs are career oriented and allow students to learn in a professional atmosphere. Our masters degree online programs are flexible and work with student’s schedules outside of school.
These degrees include Counseling Psychology, Public Relations, Business Administration and Masters of Education with three specialization choices: Online Teaching and Learning, Educational Leadership and Early Childhood Studies.
CBU/Online also offers certification programs such as Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization Certificate (ASDAA) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate. These certificate programs are offered fully online and can be completed in as little as one semester (ASDAA program only).
