The importance of social media and PR

California Baptist University Online and Professional students participated in an online survey to determine which social media platform CBU Online students prefer.

Roughly 47% of students responded that the preferred Facebook for social media use. 21% of students preferred Instagram to other forms of social media, while 9% of students preferred Twitter.

Social media has become one of the most influential sources of news today. Many companies and organizations are turning to social media to use as marketing, public relations and informational tool. However, using social media has become such a vital asset for companies, many are only turning to professionals with proper training.
