Cal Baptist - Chaffey College Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

Cal Baptist University and Chaffey College have developed a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreement. On November, 15, 2010, Dr. Henry Shannon, Superintendent/President of Chaffey College and David Poole, Cal Baptist Vice President for Online and Professional Studies (OPS), hosted a signing ceremony to solidify the agreement at the Chaffey College Rancho Campus.  Key staff from both colleges were presenters at the celebration: Ted Meyer, CBU OPS Director of Enrollment Services, Merritt Robinson, OPS Admissions Counselor and Jenny Dannelley, Director for Chaffey College Transfer Center. 

Mr. Poole praised the partnership as a way to have an impact in the community, by offering students the ability to continue their studies immediately and reach their goals conveniently through CBU’s accelerated degree completion programs available online, in-person or via hybrid courses.

The Guarantee will facilitate the transfer process for Chaffey College students planning to matriculate to undergraduate Bachelor degree programs offered at California Baptist University. 

How do students benefit?

• Guaranteed admission to CBU
• Specific guidance on major preparation and general education coursework
• Can transfer to CBU form Chaffey under the TAG agreement up to one year after the last term of attendance
• Eligible to be considered for scholarship assistance
• TAG agreement applies to CBU’s Traditional and Online Professional Studies Programs
